In January 2017, the Business Excellence Office (BEO) has been established to support our strategic directions. Moving forward, the BEO will transit from supporting short-term & one-off projects to achieve long-term sustainable excellence. The BEO is launching several impactful process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Would you like to be part of this exciting journey within Inalfa? This is your chance to really make a difference: we are currently up scaling the Business Excellence Office and have an exciting opening for a Task Force Manager – Lessons Learned (permanent position).

This Task Force envisions to establish a complete lifecycle of lessons learned across all processes in the organization, to assure that cases will be correctly analyzed, lessons will be well trained, and processes will be effectively updated and deployed.

This position is based at our headquarters in Venray, the Netherlands, leads a team of 2-3 professionals and reports directly to the Board of management (Strategy and Business Excellence).

Your main tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Collect, disseminate, and manage lessons learned to include emerging concepts, capabilities, technologies, evaluation of problem areas, and possible solutions to these problems
  • Brief/inform leadership on relevant high impacted lessons learned studies, analysis, and issues as needed
  • Review and recommend improvement focus areas to leadership
  • Receive and disseminate relevant Lessons Learned and manage the database
  • Ensure Lessons Learned regulations are communicated and followed
  • Assist in root cause analysis and other Lessons Learned documents working with SME’s in the functions
  • Establish and supervise a cross functional team, including local Continuous Improvement Leads and Specialists

What do we expect from you?

  • Master’s degree and preferably an MBA
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification, thus a thorough understanding of root cause analysis and problem solving methodologies
  • Project Management and change management skills
  • Proven (team)leadership skills (2+ fte) and ability to manage both vertically and horizontally at all levels, from production to C-level
  • Effective stakeholder management skills and the ability to exercise influence without authority
  • A go-getting attitude, the desire to drive change and eager to win
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
