Manager Project Engineering
Project Engineers at Inalfa are technical responsible to develop components and sub assemblies to meet our customer and internal design specifications. A Project Engineer will operate within a team. The Project Engineer Electronics reports to the Manager Electronics.
The Project Engineer is supporting the Lead Engineer (if applicable) and give guidance to the Product Engineer Electronics. The Project Engineer maintains primary contacts with the departments CAD, Advanced (Process) Engineering, Validation, SQD, Purchasing, Sales and maintains suppliers contacts on technical level. A Project Engineer performs his task within the
budget, against the proper quality and within the given time plan.
Your main tasks and responsibilities are:
Performing technical risk analysis in consideration to Inalfa & customer specifications, using
formal design engineering tools such as DFMEA.
Ensure all technical responsible deliverables are met in compliance with customer & internal
company product & project gateways.
Performing feasibility studies based on technical specifications resulting into design
Performing design reviews to verify the proposed design.
Specify the engineering activities to be able to build prototypes for roofs and their
components based on initial design concepts.
To review and evaluate product designs concerning costs and manufacturability.
Planning and preparing of activities within a product development lifecycle.
Coordinate engineering activities between internal customers and suppliers.
Quality and accessibility of technical project related product documentation such as ECRECO’s,
Improvement requests, DFMEA’s, etc.
Ensure use of Inalfa preferred designs and CQD’s in the product designs.
Communication by means of the Inalfa one pager system to document technical issues.
Proactively support both our customer and supplier quality assurance departments to enable
component and product sign off agreements for Electrical & Electronic engineering issues.
Technical liaison with our Advance, Mechanical, Process and Test engineering teams to
ensure smooth integration between mechanical / electrical systems, and prove the product
robustness and reliability trough agreement of Design Validation Plans (DVP).
In close cooperation with Inalfa purchase team, carrying out business strategies, coordinate
the development of the electrical and electronic sub systems by Inalfa motor, sunroof control
unit and software suppliers.
Performing activities on the location of customer or supplier
Preparing forecast information for reviewing project hours and material costs
What do we expect from you?
Education level: HBO / WO Electrical / Automotive / Mechatronic Engineering
Languages: German & English for international communication.
Communication protocols, that are especially used in the automotive industry. (OFTP, FTP)
Roof systems, components and techniques common in the automotive industry
Problem solving techniques to guarantee the quality level and timely execution of the project
Procedures, guidelines, norms, handbooks and work instructions, like IES and DIN
Global safety requirements / regulations
Project management skills
