Trade Compliance Officer
Purpose of the position: As Trade Compliance Officer you are responsible for the implementation, maintenance and execution of Trade Compliance which consists of all policies, processes, controls and tools implemented in the business to ensure compliance with the applicable laws and regulations. You are part of the EU organization being 3 plants in Venray The Netherlands (HQ), Krakovany Slovakia and Wrzesnia Poland.Your main objective is to empower Trade Compliance and you will be part of the SCM team in EU and reporting directly to the Sr. Manager SCM EU and in close contact with Logistics Specialist EU and our Sr. Manager Global Logistics. Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities Are:Active participation in development and execution of the commodity strategy in order to ensure an optimal supply base for advanced engineering, engineering and production;Contribute to risk management, market surveys, new supplier development and plan and organize phase-in and phase-out of suppliers and besides that you have to align with the suppliers on technical roadmaps;Lead negotiations of contracts with commodity suppliers and ensure relationships are maintained through systematic use of our Supplier Management System;Self-assertive in initiatives to initiate, lead, manage and actively support cost reductions;Take the lead in supplier sourcing, selection and contracting for running and new projects for commodity;Achieve the yearly set saving targets by negotiation, resourcing or Value Analyzing Value Engineering;Coordinate and control supplier development timings;Proactively support, control and coordinate regional change management process for commodityWhat Do We Expect From You:You have a finished BsC or MsC degree with at least 5 years’ experience;Experience in the automotive is a strong plus but not always necessary;You possess strong negotiation, leadership and contracting skills;Interprets global policies and guidelines and applies these to the assigned regional commodity;Strong communication skills in an international setting at different levels to develop supplier relations;Excellent interpersonal and people skills and a flexible approach in order to achieve business goals;You act as a strong team player with good analytical and problem solving skills;You are stress resistant and have a proactive attitude;It is important to have fluent communication skills in English. Purchasing Manager
Using market intelligence, conduct market research to find suppliers that are able to support the operations needs in quality, delivery, service and price.Develops, implements, and communicates strategies to all Inalfa stakeholders to support the company’s regional and global objectives. Along with all Inalfa stakeholders; Identifies, selects and maintains suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a competitive price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct for the assigned commodity.Maintain commercial relationship with all suppliers utilizing Inalfa approved request for quotation, sourcing documents, contracts, and Purchase orders to support company objectives.Ensure the utilization of appropriate cost analysis, negotiation, and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service.Perform supplier capacity reviews to determine potential supplier constraints and establish actions as appropriate to support operations contracts with end customer. Develop purchasing personnel in conjunction with industry standards, Inalfa objectives, and Inalfa core values. Provide Monthly Report to VP of Purchasing identifying major issues and progress against major objectivesActively support IRS/USA SMS and participate in Supplier Business ReviewsWork closely with Engineering and Supplier Quality Managers to minimize the cost of temporary rework performed by suppliersEnsure Commodity Overviews are maintained completely and accuratelyPrepares instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.Approves all Purchasing documents, sourcing activities in conjunction with Inalfa sourcing and delegation of authority guidelines. Contributes with active participation in SMS report card review.Supports Sales Dept. providing cost estimates on new quotes.Supports Corporate Purchasing for cost investigation requests.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Manages Purchasing Personnel in Shared Service Center.
