Supplier Quality Development Engineer

Job DescriptionAs SQD Engineer you first, and foremost, are responsible to validate documentation provided by suppliers to prove their ability to deliver components according to the specifications outlined and agreed to in the purchasing contract. You safeguard that the quality and quantity outputs are in order and can be sustained throughout the production lifetime. There where the supplier falls short, or is at risk to do so you provide close support to prevent delays in the go-live date of the project. After all your components will be just some of the many which go into a roof system. Every part is important in this because if one component is missing we cannot produce a roof and if we cannot produce a roof, our customer cannot produce a car.Main responsibilities:New product introduction (NPI) and supplier selection together with the Purchasing department.Early supplier involvement in the project phase to secure technology expertise of Inalfa and supplier are merged in the best way.Ensure that manufacturability, costs and serviceability aspects are covered in the design phase. Material Requirement Planner
