Project Engineer

Are you ready to grow with us?As a Project Engineer you are responsible for developing components, sub-assemblies and top level roof systems from a technical perspective to meet customer and internal design specifications, that allow assembly in a LEAN manufacturing environment. It?s your challenge to perform your tasks within the budget, against the agreed quality level and within the given time plan with a strong customer focus. In this position you operate in multidisciplinary project teams and work closely together with the Product Engineers and Lead engineer. You report directly to the Manager Mechanical Engineering Team. What are your main tasks and responsibilities as a Project Engineer? Perform technical risk analysis using formal design engineering tools (DFMEA / GD&T / DFA / CAD / CAE / Design Reviews).Ensure all technically responsible deliverables are met in compliance with customer and internal company product & horizon project gateways.Technical liaison for CAD Design Engineers and component suppliers.Perform feasibility studies based on technical specifications resulting into design concepts.Perform basic technical calculations and design reviews to verify the proposed design.Specify the engineering activities to be able to build prototypes based on initial design concepts.Review and evaluate product designs concerning costs and manufacturability.Plan and prepare activities within a product development lifecycle.Manage quality and accessibility of technical project related product documentation.Evaluate and analyze component and roof system quality information.Make recommendations based on reviewing the robust design engineering tools to determine risks.Support quote teams(globally) during acquisition phase for new technologies.Responsible for tech resolutions for specific mechanical topics and implementation of lessons learned into the Inalfa standards. What do we expect from you?You have a finished degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automotive Engineering on a BSc or MSC level.Automotive experience is highly preferred.We do expect you to have knowledge of different manufacturing techniques and that you are familiar with CAD / CAE systems (CATIA / UG/ Abaqus).As a professional you have a service/customer-oriented approach with good analytical and organizational skills. In your work you focus on results, and you are able to manage your planning and set priorities.As the automotive industry is focused on Quality you are as well. Therefore, you bring good problem-solving skills with a pragmatic and pro-active approach.It is important to have good communication skills in English. German, or Dutch is a plus. Patent Attorney

Are you ready to grow with us?Are you ready to shift into the next gear of your career?As a Patent Attorney within Inalfa you are in the driver?s seat to work on the development of Inalfa?s Intellectual Property. You have an important role in the buildup and maintenance of the company?s patent portfolio. You will contribute to safeguard freedom to use of all global production projects to avoid the occurrence of infringement. You will evaluate possible infringement on the company?s patent portfolio and evaluate competitor I.P for strategic company decisions by executing and managing processes on a global scale. This position is based in our Corporate Headquarters in Venray, The Netherlands. You will report to the Director Intellectual Property (European Patent Attorney). Your key activities are:Evaluate patentability of valuable ideas and write patent applications of ideas that are created within Inalfa?s organization and evaluate the freedom to use of Inalfa designs in the project phase.Guide the patent application from filing to grant, by communications with external patent agencies and or national or regional Patent Offices.Evaluate Opposition cases (defensive or offensive) and set up defenses or offensive attacks for oppositions and communicate with external patent agencies and or respective national or regional patent offices.Frequent contacts with external Inalfa engineering colleagues at international engineering sites regarding patents and freedom to use cases.Evaluate potential Infringement cases (defensive or offensive) and contribute with defenses or attacks from an IP legal side to reach the best outcome for the company.Accurate use and maintenance of I.P. cases in Inalfa?s Global Patent Database.Drive and improve the general awareness for IP within the global Inalfa organization. ?Analyze the results of different cases and report to various functions within Inalfa such as Director IP, Patent Committee and Engineering staff up to Sr. VP level. What do we expect from you? You have a Technical (Mechanics/Mechatronics/.Physics.) degree on a BsC or MsC level.You are a qualified European Patent attorney/a German or Dutch patent attorney recently qualified/ expecting to qualify in a year, in the technical field of mechanics/ mechatronics/ physics).1-2 years' experience as Patent Attorney for Engineering firms preferably with complex systems where integration of many parts to a system is essential.You have experience with patent database systems.As a professional you have a service/ customer-oriented approach with good technical, analytical and organizational skills.
