After 50 years of employment with Inalfa, Tini Nabuurs retired at the end of 2016.
Tini joined Inalfa in 1966 as Trainee Tool Producer, after which he quickly grew in various positions. Tini was one of the designers and developers of the first Inalfa sunroof in the early seventies, when Inalfa (as a metal forming company) had to look for new opportunities in the market. When Tini joined Inalfa, the company’s core business was aluminum fabricates and oil heaters. Through the years Inalfa changed its products more towards the copying and automotive industries.
Tini was very engaged in setting up the R&D organization with Inalfa that has grown to a worldwide team of more than 400 engineers in the meantime. In his final years with Inalfa, Tini was bringing all the knowledge of our roof systems to the next level generation by chairing the Inalfa Academy as member of the International Management Team.
